In today’s society, the Body of Christ is a major force in the revival and restoration of various kinds of people from all walks of life that face situations, circumstances, and dilemmas that only ministry” can offer positive and effective solutions. As members of Body of Christ, it is our purpose and our charge to continually develop and implement ministries within the congregation at Sanctuary of Praise Ministries that will assist the bound in becoming free, the wounded in being healed, and those that are whole in being sustained until the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As an expression of the compassion and love of the Father, we offer ourselves and these ministries, being certain that, ”He who has begun a good work in you will bring it to completion.” (Philippians 1:6)
All in the Family Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to reach out to the entire family structure (father, mother, son, daughter, brother and sister) in efforts to implement and/or restore the real meaning and purpose of the “family unit” within the Body of Christ and in society. Today, many families are dysfunctional, fathers are misplaced (no where to be found), mothers have been replaced (attempting to function as mother and father), the children displaced (living seemingly without purpose), and God having no place (merely shut out of our daily lives). This ministry encourages building strong and meaningful relationships within the family between parents, siblings and other relatives. All in the Family implements processes for healing wounds and scars of the past and present in an effort to attain a more productive, fulfilling and loving functional family.
My Brother’s Keeper Ministry
The concentration of this ministry focuses on the “total man”, not just his physical capabilities and strengths. From a spiritual, practical, intellectual and emotional perspective, My Brother’s Keeper assists the male in further developing and continually advancing his God-given qualities and talents. Time is spent encouraging each other to turn negative thinking into positive thinking in all areas of their lives, to set and achieve goals, to maintain an active vision, to deal with internal hurts and issues of the past and present, and to form spiritually-bonded friendships among themselves that involve trust; open communication; and the sharing of ups and downs, failures, disappointments, and victories in an effort to provide critical support to each other. My Brother’s Keeper aims to encourage men with the adage that, “He ain’t heavy… he’s my brother”, and that, “We really are our brother’s keeper.”
Women of Wisdom Ministry
Women of Wisdom is designed to effectively cascade the many strengths of women to other women who require specific ministry for specific needs. Joining their forces to educate each other in practical matters (home-care, personal hygiene, cooking, etc.), emotional issues (to love God, themselves and others), and spiritual elements (to become women of prayer, praise and worship), the objective of this ministry is to demonstrate and realize the powerful effectiveness of women who function together as one within the Body of Christ. Women of Wisdom strives to be a source of strength and encouragement to women within the group who are single mothers, have unsaved husbands and who may be experiencing difficulty in other areas of their lives with which only another woman identify and offer effective solutions.

This ministry is designed to educate young people on how to apply spiritual and practical principles with the desired outcome of winning souls to the Kingdom of God. Youth are introduced to a process by which they make and take time to give of themselves in a totally unselfish manner. They will be trained to win as many souls as possible from the traps of the enemy (e.g. drugs, alcohol, sexual promiscuity, violence, depression, etc.). Among the primary intents of CHOSEN is for the Word of God to flow through them and to them (youth-to-youth). Whether via the ministry of music, one-on-one conversations, visiting jails, nursing homes, hospitals or malls, at choir rehearsals or prayer meetings, the objective of CHOSEN is to instill in our youth the motto that “every place is the right place and any time is the right time to reach out and touch another young person’s life with the love of Jesus Christ in order to make a supernatural difference.”
PHASE (Singles’) Ministry
Patient, Holy, Anointed, Single, and Empowered are the expressions that define the acronyms of PHASE – the singles’ ministry at Sanctuary of Praise Ministries. The primary focus of this ministry is to be a source of support and fellowship for Christian singles (i.e. never married, divorced, and/or widowed). PHASE purposes to respond to the practical and spiritual needs of singles and candidly and openly discusses real-life situations, providing Biblical responses to promote spiritual and social independence and maturity. This ministry encourages all participants to cultivate their gifts and talents and sponsors pre-marital workshops for individuals desiring to marry in the future.
Golden Years Ministry
This ministry is specifically designed for persons ages 65 and older. Golden Years will actively involve fellowshipping, sharing and caring, and ministering to practical as well as spiritual needs. This ministry will serve as a source of love, offering personal companionship in an effort to eliminate any feelings of loneliness, deprivation, and/or insecurity. Golden Years will focus on revitalizing the energy and vigor of the inner man through social and spiritual functions which will assist our Christian seniors in gracefully growing older.
Soul Patrol Ministry
The purpose of this evangelistic outreach ministry is the primary goal of the church, which is to forever remain soul winners for Christ. Our motto: “Reaching the Lost at Any Cost”
Soul Patrol strategically evangelizes the community and surrounding areas, including the unchurched, lonely, backsliders, hurting, lost, wounded and substance abuse controlled individuals who are all the central focus of this ministry. Our aim is to bring the love of Jesus Christ into the lives of these individuals. The scripture base for the heartbeat of Soul Patrol is the following: “And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
(Luke 14:23).
Living Healthy Ministry
This ministry purpose is to benefit and improve the natural body by providing wholesome information that develops proper dietary and exercising habits and focuses on how to create and maintain physical well being. The Living Healthy Ministry will also provide literature and periodic workshops and forums by skilled professionals that will assist in efforts that will allow believers to experience holistic health for the mind, body, soul, and spirit to fulfill our God-given purpose and destiny while enjoying true quality of life within healthy bodies.
Economic Empowerment and Stewardship Classes
The objective of these classes is to empower a unified resourceful group of believers to help financially impact the kingdom of God. This ministry is designed to educate, teach, assist, and develop financial strategies on how to properly handle money in household budgeting, consumer spending, investment, and saving while building a well-planned and secured financial future. Various tools are provided to make wise Biblical and economic financial decisions while accomplishing the goal of becoming successful Kingdom-driven stewards through a variety of workshops, forums, and programs such as credit repair, understanding and purchasing homeowner's insurance, buying and selling property, starting a new business, and financial retirement planning all with the purpose to bring your financial goals and dreams into a peaceful reality.
Standing in the Gap Ministry
Standing in the Gap Ministry strictly focuses on intercessory prayer, knowing that the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. This ministry literally stands in the gap to spiritually undergird and serve as an umbrella over all the ministries implemented through Sanctuary of Praise and churches all across the nation. Standing in the Gap continually fasts and intercedes for the overall ministry’s leadership, administrative personnel, its participating members, and its scheduled services.
